I wrote a blog about college-related information a few days ago, so the title may seem a little redundant. IT IS NOT! This post is simply about me and the colleges I have scheduled to visit over spring break. I’m really excited to be able to finally get the process started for selecting a college.
Kentucky - What is there to say? It’s Wildcat Country; who wouldn’t want to go there? This school has been my favorite since I was still in the womb – my whole family is full of die-hard UK fans. My dad went there, my uncle went there, why shouldn’t I?
Purdue – Don’t really know that much about this school, except that it has a very good biology and chemistry programs, which is what I will need to become a doctor.
Indiana – I believe, as of now, this is my most perspective university. They have everything for me. Their campus is beautiful, their science and medical programs are rivaled only by the top schools in the nation, and they’re in-state for me. Plus, with my dad moving up to Indianapolis around the same time, I’ll still be rather close to home.
Notre Dame – I think it would be great to go to this school because of its prestige and its Catholic affiliation, but it does not have a school of medicine, so I don’t think it is right for me. I may still visit it, just to check it out.
